Bueno, quienes me leen ya saben que no puedo pasar unos días sin poner un poco de hard rock en esta zona de mi hogar virtual en la red.

Hoy nos inclinamos por una mezcla de hard rock y balada heavy tan prolíficas de los 80, que nos lleva a preguntarnos ¿que harías tú por amor? ¿cualquier cosa, como dice la canción? ¿ir al infierno y volver?

Y es curioso que esto nos lo cante quien nos lo canta. Porque que un chico nacido en una familia de suburbios, problemática, con malostratos incluidos sea capaz de decir que hará cualquier cosa por amor es difícil. Y es que su propio nombre artístico, Meat Loaf (pedazo de carne) proviene de como le llamaba su padre cuando llegaba borracho a casa. El bueno de Meat Loaf, pasadito de kilos siempre, fue capaz de superar eso y decirnos lo que él haría por amor: cualquier cosa.

En fin, dejo pues esta canción para aquellos que creen en el amor, es más, la recomiendo para aquellos que están enamorados del hecho de enamorarse (que son los más). Y para los que, como yo, no idealizan las reacciones químico-hormonales, nos queda encomendarnos al Dios del Sex, Drums and Rock’n'Roll (curiosa la forma de evitar las drogas en la letra… y cambiarla por tambores).
